What Is This Session About?

“Coaching is unlocking a person's potential to maximise their own performance. It is helping them to learn, rather than teaching them.” Sir John Whitmore. So what does it take to be a great coach? In this session, we will be inviting a panel of seasoned and experienced coaches to share their development journey via a panel discussion in the following areas:

  • What does it take to be a successful coach in the current industry?
  • How can we nurture pyschological safety with our coaching clients?
  • What are the minefields to avoid in coaching?
  • Where are the opportunities in coaching?
  • What are the latest developments in team coaching?
  • How much do we understand ethics and code of conduct as a Coach?

Thereafter, participants will break into different breakout rooms where they have the opportunity to coach each other on their coach development plan. Experienced coaches can also elect to work with a coach mentor in a deisgned room where ICF's CEUs will be awarded to relevant candidates.

After the breakout room, everyone will re-adjourn back into plenary where we will consolidate takeaways and reflections before evaluations and closing.

This 4-part series will help you understand how to become a coach or better your skills. Stay tuned for the other sessions that will be released over the year!
